Privacy Notice for Customers Purchasing Products or Services

Hunny Gıda Tarım Üretim ve Ticaret A.Ş. (“Hunny Gıda”), as the data controller, processes your personal data in accordance with the Law on the Protection of Personal Data No. 6698 (“KVKK”) and other applicable legislation.

This Privacy Notice is prepared in line with Article 10 of the KVKK, which imposes an obligation on data controllers to inform data subjects regarding the processing of their personal data. It also complies with the Regulation on the Principles and Procedures of the Fulfillment of the Obligation to Inform issued by the Turkish Personal Data Protection Authority.

Definitions

According to Law No. 6698:

  • Personal data means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person.

  • Processing of personal data refers to any operation performed on personal data such as collection, recording, storage, retention, alteration, rearrangement, disclosure, transfer, acquisition, retrieval, classification, or prevention of use.

  • Data subject refers to the real person whose personal data is processed.

  • Data controller means the real or legal person who determines the purposes and means of the processing of personal data and who is responsible for the establishment and management of the data registry system.

Data Subject

As someone who has purchased a product or service from Hunny Gıda, you are considered a data subject under the Law and will be referred to as the “Customer” or “Recipient of Product or Service.”

Hunny Gıda is the data controller responsible for the processing of your personal data in connection with product or service delivery.

  • Article 5/2(ç) – Legal obligation of the data controller:

    • Storage and archiving as required by the Turkish Commercial Code and Distance Contracts Regulation

  • Article 9/1 – Explicit consent for international data transfers:

Data Transfers

In accordance with Article 28/1 of the KVKK, your personal data may be transferred to competent authorities without your explicit consent when legally required.

  • To request information if your personal data has been processed,

  • To learn the purpose of processing and whether data is used accordingly,

  • To request deletion or destruction in accordance with the law,

  • To request notification of actions taken to third parties,

  • To object to a decision made solely by automated systems,

  • To request compensation for damages arising from unlawful data processing.
